The goal of this workshop is to show the results of IDEM project to a wide audience, including representative from projects involved in the implementation of MSFD and have a face-to-face with stakeholders and policy makers.

Il Meeting annuale della Society of Environmental Toxicology and Chemistry (SETAC) è un evento scientifico molto rilevante per chi si occupa di problematiche ambientali e si svolge ogni anno in una città europea diversa (lo scorso anno si è svolto a Brussels ed il prossimo sarà a Helsinki).

The conference is organized to promote systematical research and development of EMF-Med topics: beneficial biomedical interactions and applications of electromagnetic fields (EMFs).
Inspired by promising recent studies, EMF-Med focuses on medically applicable effects of EMFs, aiming for breakthrough results, new discoveries and innovative biomedical technologies.
Si segnala che fino al 30 Novembre (ATTENZIONE deadline per la sottomissione degli abstract è stata estesa al 20 Dicembre 2017) è ancora possibile la sottomissione di abstract e paper per partecipare alla 24th Annual Conference, “Actions for a Sustainable World: from theory to practice” (ISDRS 2018). In paricolare, si evidenzia che una delle sessioni è organizzata da SUN (Symbiosis User Network), di cui ENEA detiene attualmente la Presidenza.

La SETAC è un’organizzazione scientifica e professionale non-profit che coinvolge a livello globale circa 6.000 iscritti, tra cui numerose istituzioni internazionali che si occupano del controllo e regolamentazione ambientale, prestigiosi enti di ricerca e industrie.
I prossimi 19 e 20 giugno avrà luogo il II Meeting del progetto ‘EC4SafeNano’ (European Centre for Risk Management and Safe Innovation in Nanomaterials & Nanotechnologies) alla Valletta (Malta). Inoltre, il giorno 20 giugno verranno svolti due Open Workshop intitolati: “The standardization and harmonized expertise in Nanosafety: from the stakeholders needs, trough the mapping of technical resources available, to the building of expertise for routine use.
